Eye Love You

Here's my heart. Joy always ask for her heart at the end of our online conversations. Our chats cannot be complete without me showing her my heart. With her it is so easy to show her my heart. I have never felt this way before.This symbolism of my hands making a heart does not escape me for I know I hold her heart in my hands. You know true love is like that. A Silver Lining In My Cloud

I knew it was too good to be true. I posted the other day that the delivery of Joy's laptop was going pretty smoothly, well I spoke too soon. International shipping is frustrating! My poor Joy has had to try and accommodate FedEx policies, with ID documents, affidavits, faxes, emails, phone calls, texts,etc...the list is endless in what she has endured this last day or so, and guess what? She still doesn't have her pc...can you believe it!!!I sure cannot. After she went all out of her way to facilitate FedEx demands, she still was told to call back on Wednesday. I cannot believe that! Ay naku, she was suppose to have that pc by now so she would be able to fly out with it on Sunday, when she goes to Dumaguete. I feel so helpless on this end. Anyhow the good news is that her laptop is in Manila, which means it is going to take a few more days than expected. Isn't that the way it always is? You can plan and plan, and things can still go wrong at the last minute. Well the bright moment of today is this is her last day at work, so at least she will not have any more hectic meetings or irritating clients to put up with. Anyhow as they say "there is always a silver lining in every cloud" and in this particular overcast day it is easy to see how Joy SHINES. She is so remarkable under pressure and I so admire her and I try my best to hide my frustrations but Joy is always observant and she knows my thoughts before I even display them. What a woman! She is definitely the silver lining in my cloud

Excited!

Needless to say Joy and I are really excited about the big change that is going to take place in her life this weekend! With the arrival of her laptop it seems to be a great way to begin her new life in Dumaguete! Hopefully today she will be able to get it picked up once it has been finally cleared. The way everything is turning out is way better than I had even planned. It just goes to show that we are moving in the right direction. We both feel very positive about the days that are ahead of us. I know Joy wishes I was there with her, so she could share all her new experiences with me in person. Thats what I like about her she always is willing to share . I know I have found the most compatible person for me. It is not something that I take for granted. Being able to embark on this journey with her has renewed my purpose and inspirations in life. Something this good only comes once in a lifetime, and I just thank God everyday that I have found the one person in my life that completes me.

Annoyances Erased!

Ay naku, the shipping of Joy's pc had a few bumps along the way, however, I am impressed with how fast fedex delivered that pc in PHL! Joy should be able to pick it up Friday sometime. The only thing that is annoying is I am being charged duty, its a gift for crying out loud! Bare with me folks I am new to international affairs. Flying was a big experince for me, and now international shipping is more exposure to how things are run outside of my country. I find, we as Canadians, are so laid back and everything runs so smoothly here, but I have found once I leave this great country, its not so relaxed. However all the frustration I feel and the annoyances I encounter they are all erased when I see her smile online. ILU

She's My Kind of Rain

Anybody ever hear that song by Tim McGraw? Well after I finished talking to mahal ko tonight I went outside to have my evening cigarette, and it was raining really hard like it does in the Philippines. I always tell Joy I love the rain because it reminds me of thoses wet days we shared together when I was there. Anyhow getting back to this song, by Mr.McGraw, when I went outside I always turn on my Sony Ericsson, and listen to whatever song is on the playlist at the time. I found it very appropriate listening to thoses words while it was raining. It was raining so hard my cigarette got soaked and broke after the first couple puffs, but I didn't care - I was back in the Phillipines,with the night raining falling on me and running down my face I was carried away by those lyrics to the side of my mahal ko.

A Voice that melts her Heart

I wanted to give attention to the singer that you hear on my blog. He is Nong, the boyfriend of Joie. Joie is the one who introduced me to Joy. I was just talking briefly with Joie the other night and she is so busy working in Manila she never seems to find time to enjoy that quality time with her man. Nong is a tremendously nice guy. I had the pleasure in meeting him when I visited the Philippines back in July. We all met at a restuarant in Pampanga and I was figuring out what we could do after that when Joy said that it was already planned what we would do. Joie wanted us to go to the karoke bar and listen to Nong sing. Well if anyone knows karoke is as popular in Philippines as texting is on the cell phones. Well let me tell you was I in for the shock of my life. As soon as he began to sing I knew right away why Joie was in love with this guy. He melts her heart everytime he sings. I could have listened to him sing all that evening, I never heard such talent. So it was great news when Joie told me the other night that Nong had a song on the internet. I knew right away that it had to go on my site. So cheers to you Nong, two thumbs up, well done, and I hope I get to hear another tune soon.

Great News

Joy told me this morning she found a GREAT apartment. That is great so now when I visit I won't have thoses crazy hotel bills. She is always looking for ways of saving me money. She is so considerate of me. Always looking out for my better interests. It is an apartment that is overlooking the beach and it is only a tricycle ride away from Silliman Unversity. I asked her if she will be able to get a good internet connection there. It obvious that is paramount on my list, as if she didn't already know that. Of course the answer was yes, as if I really had to ask. In securing an apartment over there, they have this sira policy of paying a deposit which I can understand but also they want you to pay 2 months in advance. Why is that? Anybody know? I can understand the damage deposit but why pay for rent that you haven't even consumed yet? I guess they just want to know that you are going to stick around for awhile. I am so excited, next week is her last week at work, and then she flies out next weekend, to Dumaguete. Wow I just looked at the calender, time is moving by so quickly. Joy is very anxious and excited as she begins a new chapter in her life, and I am so lucky that I am along for the ride.

I am so Blessed

It was a great day today, lots of things happened. But the most noticeable thing that happened today was the arrival of the courier, for in it was the arrival of Joy's new dell laptop. She is going to be so excited to recieve this gift that was provided to her through the goodwill of Mom and Dad. I should pause here and reflect on the wonderful parents that I have. They have always been supportive in all my endeavours, not ever really questioning me, but just letting me spread my wings and fly. Sometimes, I flew and sometimes I crashed and burned, but yet they have forever been faithful to me with their unconditional love. I am truly blessed to be loved by such great parents and to have the most beautiful and sweet girl in the world by my side. My mom and Joy just love each other, even though they have yet to meet, and I look forward to the day when they can finally sit down and have a chat at the kitchen table. Needless to say Dad and I will have to find something to occupy ourselves, because they will be conversing for hours. They are so much like each other it is amazing. I know both of them so well that when they finally get together it will be like they have always known each other. Seeing them finally together will be the crowning glory of the marvelous work that God has done. I have always considered Joy a miracle from God, because I was not looking for her but yet God in His infinite wisdom place her in my path. You know never get discouraged, and think all is lost, because you never know what is around the corner. Life is full of surpises, and I have learned over the years that all good things comes to thoses who wait. However needless to say the arrival of Joy's dell pc today made me realise that I am so Blessed!

A Great Day

Today started off great. I spent it with the Joy of my life. Most mornings I do anyways. Yet today we are getting closer to when she is moving to Dumaguete. I am so excited. Seeing her fulfilling a dream in her life is so rewarding. I am so blessed that I am sharing this moment with her. You know life is so full of many blessings. One just has to stop and enjoy them once in awhile. I have been so caught up in the rigors of life, that I have neglected to sometimes just stop and enjoy the moment. With Joy I find I do stop. Maybe its because that I love her so much that it stops me dead in my tracks. Yeah that's it. Love will do crazy things to you. Next week is her last week at her job , she is a sales director at Property Management Company. They all at her job are going to miss her. The president of the company, her supervisor, and her colleagues are all wishing her well, and extending her their best regards. It is a big step for her. A big step of faith, she has always been working her whole life since she graduated from University, and to now go back to university some ten plus years later, well lets just say I AM PROUD OF HER! Silliman University that is where she is going is one of the best in the country. It's nursing college has scored in the top 3 in the country. A very well recommended University. I feel God has definitely directed her to this one. It will be a great place for her to get her Bacholer of Science. I will be visiting her university when I visited her soon. I hope to get over during her Christmas Break, she thinks I will not be able to make it, but I am really focusing on that, I just don't tell her in case it doesn't materialize.

Inspired

I have always wanted to get a blog going but I never seem to be motivated. I am a great procrastinator.

Q:Anybody else have that problem?
A:Yeah I thought so, it is just me. I even made up a saying that is,

"Procrastination is the assassination to MOTIVATION!"

Yet at times my mind seems to travel light years ahead of me and the present seems to get ignored as I am not there but in some future world and living in the dreams of things not yet happened. I know no one else has that problem. You are all perfect. It is just me. Yeah go ahead laugh out loud as I know you are. We all get caught up in our dreams. Which is great. Yet the choices we make today affect the dreams of tommorow. Which brings me to why I am here.

A few days ago I was browsing the internet on specific interests concerning the Philippines. I came across a blog that was so interesting. It was a detailed journal of events to and since the visit to the Philippines. As I was reading this beautiful protrayal of transpired events. I was inspired out of my lethargy to begin my own blog.
